1.as...as...can This structure is a comparative adverbial clause that means “as much effort as possible” and is equivalent to as...as possible. The use of this structure should pay attention to the following two points: (1) The can(could) of the structure is part of the predicate verb of the adverbial clause, and the verb primitive is omitted after the adverbial clause.
