统计教学要注重所学内容与现实生活的密切联系,培养学生有意识地从统计的角度思考有关问题,让学生初步体会统计的价值。“统计观念的形成不是教出来的,是在过程中体验和发展的。”统计教学要注重使学生经历数据的收集、整理、描述、分析的过程,避免单纯的统计量的计算。统计教学要创造机会,引导学生将所学的统计知识运用到现实中去,提高学生分析、解决问题的能力。
Statistics teaching should pay attention to the close relationship between the content and real life, train students consciously to think about the issue from a statistical point of view, so that students initially appreciate the value of statistics. “The formation of statistical concepts is not taught but experienced and developed in the process.” Statistical teaching should focus on enabling students to go through the process of data collection, collation, description and analysis, and avoiding the calculation of simple statistics. Statistics teaching should create opportunities and guide students to apply the statistical knowledge they learned to the reality so as to improve their ability to analyze and solve problems.
