竹添井井,本名竹添进一郎,讳光鸿,字渐卿,号井井,晚号井井居士,日本九州肥后人。《栈云峡雨稿》是竹添井井的一部中文游记著作,记述了他本人在1876年5月至8月期间,从北京开始,经由河北、河南、陕西,翻越秦岭栈道,进入四川,由三峡穿越重庆、湖北,最终顺江由江苏抵达上海的沿途见闻。清末的著名学者俞樾曾给予《栈云峡雨稿》这样的评价:“山水则究其脉络,风俗则言其得失,政治则考其
