根据1975年3月中国科学院,水利电力部,国家地质总局召开全国农田基本建设有关农业的重点科研项目工作经验交流会议的精神与经验,市科技局和静海县选在府君庙公社府君庙大队大碱城1200亩重盐碱地上进行抽咸补淡综合治理盐碱地的试验研究,为我市找出改造重盐碱地见效快的措施,采取从竖井抽走浅层地下咸水,让淡水补进来,改造咸水,淡化到可以用于农田灌溉,为雨季及河水灌溉在土壤里蓄水创造条件探讨建立浅层地下水库的可能性。
