For esophageal cancers that have undergone subtotal gastrectomy, there are people with residual gastroesophageal [1]. In 1954, Muhoney and Sherman first reported transesophageal esophagectomy via a right thoracic approach [2]. Cervical esophageal cancer is preferred to cervical esophageal cancer. In our hospital from 1986 to 1995, we performed 12 cases of transesophageal esophagectomy.
