中国修辞学的发展在80年代以后取得了很大成就,修辞学各方面的研究都结出了丰硕的成果。这与自80年代以来中国修辞学界对有关修辞的定义、修辞学的性质、修辞学的研究对象和范围等理论问题的争鸣的推动是有密切关系的。因为这些问题皆是关系修辞学发展的首要问题。但是,80年代以来修辞学界对这些问题的争鸣,其间有卓见,也有偏颇。但不管怎样,我们认为这些争鸣对中国修辞学在80年代以后乃至未来的发展是有积极意义的。
The development of Chinese rhetoric achieved great success after the 1980s, and all the rhetorical studies have yielded fruitful results. This is closely related to the argument of Chinese rhetoric scholars since the 1980s about the definition of rhetoric, the nature of rhetoric, the research object and scope of rhetoric. Because these issues are all the primary issues in the development of rhetoric. However, the rhetoric circles’ controversy over these issues since the 1980s has its own advantages and biases. In any event, we think these arguments have positive meanings for the development of Chinese rhetoric in the 1980s and beyond.
