现代水轮机的导水叶通常有上中下三个轴承,其中上、中两个轴承位于固定在水轮机顶盖上的导叶套筒中,下轴承则位于底环的导叶轴孔中。这种结构要求导叶的这三个轴承严格保证同轴性,否则电站现场安装后导叶别劲,转动不灵活,并且无法保证导叶端面间隙和立面间隙符合要求,即使进行处理,也是很困难和麻烦的,并且会影响机组安装工期。因此,水轮机制造厂为保证导叶三个轴承的同轴性,通常是根据上、中轴承来加工下轴承,而且要在厂内进行试装配,以便确保电站现场安装质量。
