女大学生是中国学生贷款的重要获贷群体,对学生贷款影响女大学生学业发展进行计量分析有助于政策效果的评估。本研究利用全国6139位女大学生的追踪调查数据,在控制大一时基线成绩的基础上,采用倍差法(DID)和倾向得分匹配法(PSM)相结合的研究方法,检验了学生贷款对女大学生学业发展的影响。研究发现,当前的学生贷款总体上对中国女大学生的学业发展产生了抑制效应而不是激励效应,即学生贷款降低了女大学生的学习成绩,在短期内增加了她们的打工时间,对她们的学习时间没有影响;同时,学生贷款增加了中国女大学生的偿债压力,刺激了她们要尽早进入劳动力市场就业,从而降低了她们继续攻读研究生的毕业选择。本研究为中国学生贷款的政策改进提供了经验证据。
Female college students are important loan-seeking groups for student loans in China. The econometric analysis of the impact of student loans on female college students’ academic development helps to assess the effect of the policy.
