2008年,学校制定了《八年发展规划》,明确提出了办学理念、办学目标、育人目标,完善了校训。学校的办学理念是“为孩子幸福人生奠基”。诠释为:幸福是人生追求的终极目标,通过知识的传授、能力的培养和良好心理素质的训练,使学生形成积极的心态和优秀的人格,拥有为幸福人生而奋斗的激情、理智、意志和本领,三年习得,终生受益。学校的办学目标是“建设全面优质的理想学校”。全面优质:理念先进、师资雄厚、硬件现代、管理一流、质量优秀、特色显著,享有一定的知名度;关注每一个学生的成长。理想学校:是指学生向往这所学校,能在这里幸福成长,并为其终身学习和获取幸福人生打下良好基础,三年习得,终生受益;教师在这里能够愉悦工作、成就事业并感到幸福;学校能够赢得家长的满意和社会的赞誉。
