17世纪以来,世界地图急剧变化,各大洲国家兴替、大国盛衰,这一切都给人们留下许多历史智慧。我们所致力建构的,应该是一种支撑“战略文化”的成熟、理性的现代国家意识。走向21世纪的中国战略应有利于扮演和平与安全、维护国际经济秩序与政治秩序的大国角色,对全球事务承担起大国的责任。在文化因素在国际关系中的地位日趋突出的情况下,我们应从国家自强、民族复兴的高度保护和壮大发展本国文化,实现中华文化的更新发展和现代崛起。
Since the 17th century, the drastic changes in the world map, the rise and fall of great powers on all continents, and the rise and fall of great powers have all left many historical wisdom to the people. What we are striving to construct should be a mature and rational modern national consciousness that supports “strategic culture.” The Chinese strategy going to the 21st century should be conducive to playing the role of a big nation in peace and security, maintaining international economic and political order and assuming the responsibility of major powers in global affairs. In the context of cultural factors becoming increasingly prominent in international relations, we should protect and expand our own culture from the perspective of self-reliance and national rejuvenation of our country and achieve the renewal and development of the Chinese culture and the rise of the modern China.
