The demonstration experiment of the problem of “Overcoming frictional work to increase the thermal energy of an object” in the junior high school physics “method of changing the thermal energy of an object” is carried out by using the phenomenon that the ether is boiled up by a rubber stopper. I think although this method can explain the problem, students can’t directly see the increase of temperature. They can only rely on boiling phenomenon to imagine and analyze the rise of temperature.
