慈寿寺塔原名永安万寿塔,亦称八里庄塔。慈寿寺及塔建于明万历四年(1576年),清乾隆二十二年(1757)修缮,清光绪年间寺废,仅存孤塔。塔为八角十三层密檐式实心砖塔,高约50米,塔基为3层,上为双层须弥座,呈八角形,下面一层须弥座束腰。塔基上面是3层仰莲花瓣拱托塔身,塔刹为铜质葫芦形摩尼珠式鎏金宝瓶,下有覆莲承托。慈寿寺塔挺拔秀丽,是北京地区现存最精美的明塔之一。1957年公布为北京市文物保护单位。因为它仿北京天宁寺塔而建,故与天宁寺塔并称为“姐妹塔”。
