临钢现有四座100米~3高炉,自1958年投产以来,煤气净化一直是沿用重力除尘器—洗涤塔—文氏管—净煤气总管的工艺流程.由于缺水和没有污泥处理设施,煤气净化质量一直不好,含尘量高达65～99毫克/标米~3,含水(包括机械水)也平均在201.8～254.4克/标米~3.这不仅影响了冶炼指标的改善而且热风炉过早损坏,一座高炉一年还要排放100多万吨废水,对周围环境造成了严重污染.
