Founded in 1998, Matière Grise is a public television program on the diffusion and diffusion of science and technology at RTBF in Belgium (French-speaking Belgian radio and television stations). In Western context, “gray matter” means “part of the central nervous system,” as well as “wisdom.” Visible, the program’s naming has science as a synonym for wisdom. The program broadcasts once a week, each of which takes 45-60 minutes and plays 50 times a year. The program broadcasts on RTBF’s 1 television set, 2 sets and 5 sets of French television sets (1) respectively. Today, “gray matter” is already one of the most influential popular science television shows in Europe and around the world.
