新课程标准指出:“教师应激发学生学习的积极性,向学生提供充分从事数学活动的机会,帮助他们在自主探讨和合作交流的过程中真正理解和掌握基本的数学知识与技能、数学思想和方法,获得广泛的数学活动经验。”素质教育就是要调动全体学生的主观能动性,发挥学生的主体作用,让学生参与整个教学过程,获得主动发展和全面发展。教师重视学生的质疑正是调动其学习主动性和积极性参与学习的重要手段,也是培养学生创新意识的重要一环。
