开采保护层是最优先考虑的区域防突措施,但只有保护层开采后使被保护层最大膨胀变形量达到或超过3‰,其保护效果和保护范围参数才可适用于该被保护层的其他区域。为了考察某煤矿下保护层开采对其被保护层的变形量的影响,在不具备岩石考察巷道的条件下,国内首次采用在保护层工作面回采前施工考察钻孔并应用远距离观测设备的方法,在保护层采空区内对被保护层的变形量进行实际考察。最终准确测得被保护层2#煤层的最大膨胀变形量154.1mm,膨胀变形率27.8‰。即保护层4#煤层对2#煤层的保护效果及保护范围参数可应用于全矿井。
