This paper first discusses the history of Chinese painting and calligraphy identification of the history of the Chinese traditional calligraphy and painting identification issues. Due to the introduction of Western culture, the identification of traditional Chinese painting and calligraphy into the fresh blood. The purpose of this article is to discuss which Western art theories are specifically affected by Chinese calligraphy and painting appraisal.
