由中国水产学会渔业史研究会编著(丛子明、李挺主编)的《中国渔业史》,经过九个春秋的努力已经竣稿,并由中国科学技术出版社出版。《中国渔业史》总结了远古以来渔业发展的基本规律,渔业在社会经济发展中的地位和作用,不同生产方式下的生产概况,主要朝代的管理体制、政策,以及推动和影响渔业发展的历史人物和历史事件。全书“取材丰富、史论配合、有学术价值”,而且“文字流畅,可读性好”(中国科学技术出版社终审竟见)。
