I. Introduction One of the main goals of English teaching is to equip students with the ability to communicate freely with others in English. However, the teaching model of middle school English is still stuck in the “teaching of knowledge”: teachers pay too much attention to the teaching of grammar and vocabulary while neglecting a very important part - how to communicate in English rationally and naturally.
