课堂教学是学校教学的基本形式。课堂上教师对学生的教授、引导和训练,是必不可少的。它侧重于一个“学”字,按苏霍姆林斯基的观点来说,就是对客观世界的认识和理解。但课堂教学有一定局限性,学生动手能力的培养受到限制。开展“第二课堂”活动能够弥补这些不足。实践证明,“第二课堂”是培养创造型人才的沃土。这是为适应现代科学文化发展、新技术革命挑战和我国四化建设对教育提出的迫切要求,也是“第二课堂”得以产生、发展、并且有强大生命力的根本原因。那么什么是创造型人才呢?我们认为这样的学生应具有如下的特点:想象力丰富、审美能力强;思维敏捷,独立工作能力强;兴趣广泛,好奇心强;志向远大,自信心强等。要培养这样的人才,要求我们在“第二课堂”教学中必须不断探索它的教学原则和发展前途,以进一步完善它,使课内、
