放射肿瘤学是近几年才被命名的,以往称之为放射治疗学(简称为放疗)。它开始于1895年伦琴发现X线和居里夫人发现放射性同位素镭,至今已有百年的历史,但放射治疗的发展历尽坎坷,经过了漫长的历程才由原先仅有低能深部X线治疗机,发展到目前(20世纪50年代以后)的高能X线(电子加速器)以及高LET(高线性能量转换)射线,后者指电子回旋加速器、重粒子加速器等产生的射线。至此国际于1989年成立了国际放射肿瘤学会(ICRO),准确地将放射治疗命名为放射肿瘤学(Radiation Oncology)。河北省的放射治疗工作也不例外,于1994年成立了河北省放射肿瘤学会。现就我省目前放射治疗的现状和将来发展情况谈一下看法。
Radiation oncology was only named in recent years. It was formerly known as radiotherapy (radiotherapy). It began in 1895 when Roentgen discovered X-rays and Madame Curie discovered radioisotope radium. It has a history of more than 100 years. However, the development of radiation therapy has gone through rough times. After a long history, only the low-energy deep X-ray machine was originally available. The development of high-energy X-ray (electron accelerator) and high LET (high linear energy conversion) rays to the present (after the 1950s), and the latter refers to rays generated by electron cyclotrons, heavy particle accelerators, and the like. So far in 1989, the International Society of Radiation Oncology (ICRO) was established in the international community and it was accurately named radiation oncology (Radiation Oncology). Radiotherapy in Hebei Province is no exception. In 1994, the Hebei Provincial Radiation Oncology Society was established. Now we talk about the current status and future development of radiotherapy in our province.
