利用水系线密度与面密度分布特征,结合野外地质调查等方法,详细研究了江汉洞庭盆地的新构造活动。认为至少全新世以来江汉洞庭盆地普遍沉降,主要沉降带的展布呈“S”型,“S”的北端分布于武汉至梁子湖一带,中段沿沙湖—湘阴断裂西侧展布,“S”的南端由南洞庭、津市、公安沉降区构成。沉降带这种展布格局可能是盆地内北北东向断裂在北东向挤压、南东向拉伸构造应力场作用下发生顺扭正断所致
Based on the distribution characteristics of water line density and surface density, combined with field geological survey and other methods, the Neotectonic activity of the Dongting Basin in Jianghan Basin has been studied in detail. It is believed that the Jianghan-Dongting Basin has generally subsided since at least the Holocene, the distribution of major subsidence belts has a “S” shape, the northern end of “S” has been distributed in the area from Wuhan to Liangzi Lake, and the middle reaches of the Shahu- S "by the South Dongting, Tianjin, public security settlement area. The distribution pattern of the subsidence zone may be due to the north-northeast fault in the basin being squeezed along the northeast direction and the east-west normal fault occurring under the action of the tectonic stress field in the south-east direction
