由华中师范大学、湖北省科技情报研究所主办,中国图书馆学会、中国科技情报学会、湖北省科委等协办的“93’国际图书情报学理论与实践发展学术研讨会暨展示会”于5月21日至25日在武昌华中师范大学隆重举行。美、英、法、德、加拿大等39个国家和地区的100多位海外代表参加了会议。出席会议的还有56位大陆知名学者和专家代表以及80多位论文作者。5月21日上午,研讨会在华中师大科学会堂正式开幕。文化部图书馆司司长杜克、中国国家科委信息司
Organized by Huazhong Normal University and Hubei Provincial Institute of Scientific and Technical Information, the 93 Symposium and Exhibition on Theoretical and Practical Development of Library and Information Science in China, co-organized by the Chinese Library Association, the Chinese Scientific and Technical Intelligence Institute and the Hubei Provincial Science and Technology Commission, March 21 to 25 in Wuchang Huazhong Normal University was held. More than 100 overseas delegates from 39 countries and regions including the United States, Britain, France, Germany and Canada attended the conference. Also attended by 56 well-known scholars and experts on behalf of the mainland and more than 80 dissertation author.
