1.强化使用经济地图的基本技能,指导学员熟练地读、析、绘图。职工中专的学员,地理基础较差。很多人不会正确地阅读地图,更谈不上利用地图分析地理事物的空间分布规律。要想使学员能在《中国经济地理》这门课程中迅速提高,首先必须强化学员使用经济地图的能力。面对这一薄弱环节,我先集中利用一段时间,复习在中学学过的地图基本知识,培养他们读图、用图的正确方法,并在此基础上进行一定的拔高,强化他们的经济地图使用技能,了解并掌握各种经济地理要素在地图上的表示方法。然后选出教材中的一些重点图幅,让学员在教师的指导下自己临绘,在实践中巩固知识和规律,锻炼技能。这样学员们使用经济地图的能力就会在较垣的时间里,有一定程度的提高。实践证明,这种做法从表面看浪费了一些课时,却提高了学员在今后《中国经济地理》学习中使用地图的技能,并为其今后从事商业活动打下了一个扎实的基础;从另一方面看学员掌握了一种学习工具,也减少了今后教学中的一些困难,提前解决了一些难点,实际上又是节省了课时。 1.
