1.强化使用经济地图的基本技能,指导学员熟练地读、析、绘图。职工中专的学员,地理基础较差。很多人不会正确地阅读地图,更谈不上利用地图分析地理事物的空间分布规律。要想使学员能在《中国经济地理》这门课程中迅速提高,首先必须强化学员使用经济地图的能力。面对这一薄弱环节,我先集中利用一段时间,复习在中学学过的地图基本知识,培养他们读图、用图的正确方法,并在此基础上进行一定的拔高,强化他们的经济地图使用技能,了解并掌握各种经济地理要素在地图上的表示方法。然后选出教材中的一些重点图幅,让学员在教师的指导下自己临绘,在实践中巩固知识和规律,锻炼技能。这样学员们使用经济地图的能力就会在较垣的时间里,有一定程度的提高。实践证明,这种做法从表面看浪费了一些课时,却提高了学员在今后《中国经济地理》学习中使用地图的技能,并为其今后从事商业活动打下了一个扎实的基础;从另一方面看学员掌握了一种学习工具,也减少了今后教学中的一些困难,提前解决了一些难点,实际上又是节省了课时。

In this way, the ability of the trainees to use economic maps will be improved to a certain extent in the time of comparison. Practice has proved that this kind of method has wasting some hours on the surface but has increased the trainees’ skills of using maps in the study of “China’s economic geography” and laid a solid foundation for their future commercial activities.
