China and the South Pacific island nation Tonga established formal diplomatic relations in 1998. Despite the good momentum of bilateral relations, the geographical locations of the two countries are far apart and there are fewer personnel exchanges. Based on the theory of mutual demand, this article explores the demand for cooperation in tourism industry and analyzes the needs and needs of the major stakeholders (ie Chinese government, Chinese tourists, Chinese enterprises and Tonga government) Private enterprises Zhenkun Kun Group is being developed “Tonga Tourism Economic Zone Project ” for case studies. The study found that the demand for multi-party soup is highly complementary and formed a “mutual demand” situation. China-Tangor cooperation in tourism helps to strengthen the bilateral relations between the Chinese government and Tonga, safeguard China’s interests in the South Pacific region, provide new tourist destination choices for Chinese tourists and provide Chinese enterprises with “going abroad” "In addition, the Tongan government can also use this to introduce Chinese capital to promote tourism and socio-economic development in Tonga. This article also put forward suggestions on how Chinese enterprises go to Tonga to avoid risks and make investment in tourism.
