二号坑、230斜井为海南山金主要生产区域,两个生产区域相距5.5公里,井下最短运输线路也长达2200米,受原始森林及山路的影响,南北矿区交通及通讯一直不是很畅通,矿山测量系统也处于两个相对独立的系统中。这给测量贯通工作带来了很大的难题,在测量技术组的多次探索研究下终于攻破难题,解决了两个生产区域坐标系统统一的难题。本次贯通工程属于多级斜井、平巷(其中包含580米的破碎带大断层)组成的联合型开拓工程。
