Boosting 400G System Transmission Distance and Accelerating 400G System Deployment The current burst of data services demand for bandwidth continues to grow. 100G optical transmission systems have been deployed on a large scale. The application of 400G systems is also just around the corner. 400G wavelength division system can provide 16T to 20T transmission capacity, the spectral efficiency of 2 ~ 2.5 times the 100G system is expected to 2018 into the rapid development stage. Currently, the biggest limitation affecting the transmission of a 400G system is the OSNR tolerance. Compared with a 100G system, the 400G system has an OSHR requirement of more than 6dB, which can not meet the long-distance and long-distance transmission requirements of the backbone transmission network.
