2006年,通江县新型农村社会养老保险工作在县委、县政府的高度重视和大力支持下,在劳动保障部农保司及省市业务主管部门的关心指导下,按照中日政府合作“中国农村社会养老保险制度创新与管理规范”试点项目实施方案要求,结合实际,扎实工作,不断探索,在建立新型农村社会养老保险制度方面卓有成效,试点工作走在了全国试点县的前列,得到了劳动保障部、省劳动保障厅领导的充分肯定和高度评价。目前,全县累计参保2.2万人,基金累计790万元,已到期领取养老金330人,年发放养老金3万元,养老金社会化发放率达100%。
