周而复,原籍安徽旌德,一九一四年一月生于南京一个小职员家庭。一九三三年秋,进上海光华大学英国文学系学习,开始写作诗歌和小说,并同田间等合编《文学丛报》,与张天翼、欧阳山、草明、沙汀等编辑《小说家》月刊。一九三八年夏,大学毕业后到延安,第二年秋到晋察冀边区,在艰苦的抗日斗争中从事部队文艺宣传工作。一九四二年冬回延安,入中共中央党校学习,写了歌颂陕甘宁边区生产运动的短篇小说和记述伟大的国际主义战士白求恩大夫高贵品质的报告文学《诺尔曼·白求恩断片》。一九四四年到重庆编辑中共
Zhou Erfu, origin Anhui Jingde, born in January 1914 in Nanjing, a small family of employees. In the autumn of 1933, he studied in the Department of English Literature at Shanghai Guanghua University and began to write poems and novels. Together with his co-editor Wen Tian Bao and other writers such as Zhang Tianyi, Ouyang Shan, Cao Ming and Sha Ting, "Monthly. In the summer of 1938, after graduating from college, he went to Yan’an and the autumn of the second year to the border region of the Shanxi-Chahar-Hebei Province for work in propaganda and literary work of the armed forces in the difficult anti-Japanese struggle. In 1942, he returned to Yenan in winter and studied at the Party School of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China.
