In foreign literature, attention is now paid to the problem of “stress.” Therefore, the basic principle of this issue must be critically explored. Selye uses the term “stress.” Its original meaning is напряжение. We often say “nervous”, “hearing”, “muscle tension” and so on. However, “tension” is the body’s response to any pathogenic, “extraordinary” stimulus, or to a stressful state of tension induced by a foreign name. The biological significance of this condition of the organism depends on the phenomena of the “faults” of the organism and the physiological measures against the disease. As Pavlov pointed out long ago, it is often very difficult to distinguish between these situations, because any process at different times of the disease
