江苏经济发达,GDP位居全国前列,为报业及报业广告的发展奠定了很好的基础。江苏报业的经营很早就按市场化进行运作,实行结构多样化、经营实体化、组织集团化的新形态,自负盈亏、自我发展、自我壮大,逐步实现由目前众多报种的数量型覆盖发展向少数实力雄厚的报纸优势规模型覆盖的方向发展。各报业广告经营更是表现出强劲的增长势头,广告总额年年攀升。
