江泽民总书记提出的“三个代表”的重要思想，是在新的历史形势下对我们党的性质、根本宗旨和历史任务的新概括，是对马克思主义建党学说的新发展，也是对各级党组织和党员干部提出的新要求。“三个代表”的重要思想具有很强的理论性、实践性和鲜明的时代特征。全党同志都要认真学习并深入理解好“三个代表”的重要思想。为此，本刊约请我省理论界的三位专家学者，撰写了以下一组文章，希望能对大家的学习有所帮助。
The important thinking of the “three represents” put forward by General Secretary Jiang Zemin is a new summary of the nature, basic purposes and historical tasks of our party under the new historical situation. It is a new development of the theory of party building in Marxism as well as a measure for all levels Party organizations and party members and cadres put forward new requirements. The important thinking of the ’Three Represents’ has strong theoretical, practical and distinctive characteristics of the times. All party members must conscientiously study and understand well the important thinking of the “three represents.” To this end, the magazine invited three experts and scholars in our province theory, wrote the following set of articles, hoping to help everyone learn.
