With tremendous progress in the commercialization of genetically modified (GM) organisms (GMOs),the safety of GM foods has become a heated topic of debate,and many countries or organizations have adopted the GMO labeling systems [1].GM foods were labeled at 0.9% threshold in the European Union,1% in Brazil,3% in Korea,and 5% in Japan [1,2].In China,all GMOs and GM products are required to be labeled according to the Department of Agriculture,and the main purpose of labeling is to protect consumers right to know and choose [2].
