国际海事组织(IMO)航行安全、通信和搜救分委会第1次会议(NCSR1)于2014年6月30日至7月4日在英国伦敦IMO总部召开。全球海上遇险与安全系统(GMDSS)审查和现代化是本次会议的一个重要议题。IMO主持的该项工作影响深远,诸如SOLAS公约与STCW公约的修订、全球海上搜寻与救助系统软硬件设施的改造、船舶遇险与安全设备配备的换代、船员教育与培训体系大纲的更新,因此该议题的进展值得跟踪与深入研究。
The 1st IMO Meeting of Maritime Safety, Communications and Search and Rescue Subcommittee (NCSR1) was held at IMO Headquarters in London, England from June 30 to July 4, 2014. The review and modernization of the Global Maritime Distress and Safety System (GMDSS) are an important topic at this conference. The IMO-sponsored work has far-reaching implications, such as amendments to the SOLAS Convention and the STCW Convention, the upgrading of hardware and software facilities for the Global Maritime Search and Rescue System, replacement of ship distress and safety equipment, updating of the crew education and training system outline The progress of the topic deserves follow-up and in-depth research.
