At 11 am on May 31, 2014, at the first stop of the China-Central Asia natural gas pipeline in Uzbekistan, natural gas from Turkmenistan entered the China-Central Asia Natural Gas Pipeline C line with the opening of the intake valve by staff from both sides. The multinational new pipeline jointly built by China PetroChina and its Central Asian partners went into operation smoothly. Central Asia - China’s energy artery once again expanded, but also for the Silk Road Economic Belt added a touch of elegance. China - Central Asia Natural Gas Pipeline C-line project is yet another energy artery planned and constructed by China National Petroleum Corporation on the basis of lines A and B that have been completed and put into operation. It is also a new important outcome of oil and gas cooperation between China and Central Asian countries. C line and A, B line laid in parallel, the total length of 1 830km, designed annual gas transmission capacity of 250 × 108m3.
