The process of separating a mixture of fine column quartz (-10 micrometers) and fine hematite (-10 micrometers) (weight ratio 1: 1) with flotation with dodecane trimethylammonium bromide was studied. The parameters of flocculation and dispersion of quartz and hematite suspensions were determined. The flotation results were analyzed from the point of view of multi-flocculation.
