诸如地震、海啸等自然灾害经常会造成巨大人员伤亡,残奥会、世博会体现了当今世界对弱势群体广泛关注。虽然社会快速发展进步,政府对弱势群体的照顾却是十分有限,为弱势群体提供的种种设施未得到充分利用甚至被滥用,为弱势群体带来诸多不便。近年来许多国家推崇的无障碍空间意识出于对弱势群体的真心关怀,从思想到行动上为其考虑,以深沉的爱心处处为其着想。促进无障碍空间的社会认同将有助于增进社会关爱弱势群体,以切实有效的政策法规措施维护其利益,为营造良好的和谐社会风气创造更多的有利条件。 Natural disasters such as earthquakes and tsunamis often cause huge casualties. The Paralympic Games and the World Expo reflect the widespread concern of the disadvantaged groups in today’s world. Despite the rapid social development and progress, the government has taken very limited care of the vulnerable groups. The facilities provided to the disadvantaged groups have not been fully utilized or even abused. This has brought inconvenience to the disadvantaged groups. In recent years, the awareness of barrier-free space promoted by many countries stems from the genuine concern for the disadvantaged groups, their consideration from thinking and acting, and their deep love for their sake. Promoting social recognition of barrier-free space will help promote social care for vulnerable groups and safeguard their interests with effective policies and regulations and measures to create more favorable conditions for building a good harmonious society.
