《中学英语教学大纲》中规定:中学英语教学要“侧重培养阅读能力”。因此培养阅读能力是高中英语教学的重要任务之一。阅读理解也是高考考查的重点。影响学生阅读理解能力除了语法、词汇、句型结构这些语言因素外,还有一些非语言知识的因素,如逻辑推理、评价判断能力、背景知识的多寡及阅读技巧等等。高考阅读理解中,说明文为主要体裁之一。
The “English Syllabus for Secondary Schools” stipulates that “English teaching in middle schools should focus on cultivating reading ability.” Therefore, the cultivation of reading ability is one of the important tasks of high school English teaching. Reading comprehension is also the focus of the college entrance examination. Affecting students’ reading comprehension aside from linguistic factors such as grammar, vocabulary, and sentence structure, there are also some non-linguistic knowledge factors such as logical reasoning, evaluation ability, background knowledge, reading skills, and so on. In the college entrance examination reading comprehension, the exposition is one of the main genres.
