“发昏章第十一”是“发昏”的戏谑说法。这种说法是怎样形成的,有多种解释,都难成立。本文认为“发昏”是借助“昏障”一词作为桥梁关联到“章第十一”的,“十一”就是“十”的强调形式。“不管三七二十一”的由来更是一个难解之谜。本文指出,“三七”是佛、道念诵经咒及传统医学治疗中常见的数量要求,以“七”为一周期,满足了“三七”之数,就能达到希望的效果,否则效果不好或无效,因此,当人们想表达不顾章法、不计后果的观念时,自然想到了“三七二十一”之数,于是就有了“不管三七二十一”的俗语。
