It is learned from the Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco-City Administrative Committee that by the year 2017, the infrastructure construction and environmental management in the eco-city will be completed. The southern area, the central area, the eco-island area and the industrial park will be basically completed to show the world a complete eco-city image. Recently, the sixth meeting of Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco-city Joint Coordination Council was held in Singapore. The meeting was chaired by Zhang Gaoli, vice premier of the State Council of China and Zhang Zhixian, Singapore’s vice premier. The meeting listened to the report on the work of the eco-city, reviewed the development vision for the next five years, and proposed that efforts should be made to integrate the eco-city construction
