东航工程技术公司是按照“集中管理、权责明晰、统一控制、指令维修”的目标于2006年9月1日正式组建的。东航机务维修系统由东航工程技术公司、东航江苏有限公司维修部、东航武汉有限公司维修部、中货航机务工程部和七个合资维修公司组成。上航机务工程部2010年5月行政纳入工程技术公司统一管理。
China Eastern Engineering Corporation was established on September 1, 2006 in accordance with the goal of “centralized management, clear rights and responsibilities, unified control and order maintenance”. China Eastern Airlines maintenance and repair system consists of China Eastern Engineering Company, China Eastern Airlines Jiangsu Co., Ltd. Maintenance Department, China Eastern Airlines Wuhan Co., Ltd. Maintenance Department, Cargo Airlines Aircraft Engineering Department and seven joint-venture maintenance companies. Shanghai Airlines Engineering Services Department in May 2010 included in the administration of engineering and technology company unified management.
