我们几乎就要错过这次访谈。2016年8月底,为编写中国汽车人口述历史系列丛书之二《红旗》书稿,《汽车商业评论》到长春拜访曾参与建设红旗事业的部分老汽车人,如赫世跃、李中康、杨建中、智百年和赵国相,做补充采访和补充拍摄。其时,范恒光和家人正在山东威海度假,只能失之交臂,颇为遗憾。范恒光从1958年调入一汽新产品指挥部开始搞红旗起,到1984年调任一汽副厂长,期间26年他一直为轿车厂效力。他亲历了将第一批红旗送到北京,为迎接锡兰总理班达拉奈克夫人访华而给周总理送车,以及送第一辆三排座红旗CA770到北京请首长审查的全过程,也亲历过红旗被迫下马的无奈。2016年10月15日,我们再次奔赴长春,到一汽去拜访他。为这次访谈,他准备了非常详细的资料。而在近5个小时的访谈中,他为我补充了很多红旗故事的内容和细节。86岁的范恒光1930年出生在汉口,6岁后随全家迁到浙江宁波乡下生活。受抗日战争和家庭经济条件影响,时断时续才念完小学。1948年从上海陆行中学初中毕业,曾被评为全市市立中学最优秀的学生之一,受到市长奖励。考入上海国立高机学校后,在该学校参加地下党工作,解放后任学校党支部书记。1951年他从上海国立高机毕业,被华东工业部领导作为留苏培养对象暂留人事处工作。1952年末到大连工业俄专留苏预备班学习,后因华东工业部撤销,于1953年6月转入一汽俄文班。1954年赴苏联实习,回国后进入一汽生产调度处工作,曾担任过一汽轿车厂厂长和一汽副厂长。访谈中,范恒光用事实和依据一一反驳了当时对红旗质量问题、油耗问题和赔钱问题的一些不实言论。他说,红旗不倒,至今还活在国事活动上,活在人民心中,他希望红旗能在乱云飞渡的竞争环境下闯出一片新天地。本文采写得到潘成、张学东以及范恒光家人的大力支持,在此,《汽车商业评论》一并表示感谢。

Fan Hengguang, 86, was born in Hankow in 1930 and moved to the countryside in Ningbo, Zhejiang Province after 6 years of age. Under the influence of the Anti-Japanese War and the family economic conditions, the elementary school was finished after a while. He graduated from Shanghai Luhang Middle School in 1948 and was awarded as one of the best students in municipal secondary schools in the city and rewarded by the mayor. After entering the Shanghai National High School, in the school to participate in the work of the underground party, after the liberation of the school party branch secretary. In 1951, he graduated from Shanghai National High School and was led by the East China Ministry of Industry as a temporary resident of RSPU. At the end of 1952, he went to Dalian Industrial Russia to prepare for the preparatory course for the Soviet Union. Later, he was transferred to the FAW Russian class in June 1953 because of the revocation of the East China Industrial Department. In 1954 to the Soviet Union internship, after returning to work in FAW production and dispatch office, served as FAW car factory manager and vice president of FAW. During the interview, Fan Hengguang refuted the untrue statements on the quality problems, fuel consumption problems and money-losing issues of the Red Flag at the time on the basis of facts and grounds. He said that the red flag will not fall, so far it still lives in the state affairs and lives in the hearts of the people. He hopes that the red flag can break a new world under the competitive environment of chaotic cloud migration.
