State-owned equity management is a new issue in the management of the ownership of state-owned assets. The establishment of its effective management method remains to be continuously practiced and explored in the reform. This article will mainly discuss how to conduct state-owned equity management. I. Scope of State-owned Equity Management State-owned equity refers to the rights that the state possesses by holding shares in the company. According to the state’s existing documents, when a joint-stock enterprise is established, the shares formed by using state-owned assets as shares may be regarded as the state’s shares and countries, depending on the different circumstances of its equity management.
