前列腺癌已成为威胁男性健康的重要疾病,全球范围内其发病率正逐年升高。目前的诊断、治疗方法均存在一定不足。NKX3.1是新发现的前列腺特异表达的、受雄激素调节的同源框基因,在前列腺胚胎发育、上皮分化及肿瘤发生、发展中起重要作用,胚胎形成过程中同源框基因NKX3.1的表达可作为前列腺上皮分化的重要标志,在胚胎期参与前列腺的发生和分化。同源框基因NKX3.1有可能是前列腺癌发生的特异性抑癌基因。本文就同源框基因NKX3.1与前列腺癌关系的研究进展作一综述。

Homeobox gene NKX3.1 may be a specific tumor suppressor gene in prostate cancer. This review summarizes the progress of research on the relationship between homeobox gene NKX3.1 and prostate cancer.
