The capillary penetration technique was used to determine the wettability of sphalerite particles under conditions associated with flotation. The contact angle of each particle was determined according to the wetting rate of the sphalerite layer and the equilibrium capillary pressure, respectively. The contact angles of sphalerite with different particle sizes range from 75 to 90 ° compared to 46 to 53 ° for artificially prepared zinc sulfide (99.9%).
