The Micro / J-11 from DEC (digital device company) is a 16/32-bit microcomputer compatible with the PDP-11/70 computer and features an entire PDP-11 command system including an extended command set, Precision and double-precision floating-point instructions and micro-code debugging commands. The on-chip memory management unit can access up to 4 Mbytes of physical memory and support for caches, multiprocessing and co-processors. This management unit is implemented in CMOS with less than 1 watt of power. The processor architecture uses a 32-bit internal data path, pipelined design, and a 20MHz clock. It has full PDP-11 memory management and protection.
