天津回教联合会是天津回族早期主要的社会团体之一,她产生于五四运动初期,在组织和领导回族群众与各界人民一道参加反帝反封的斗争中,发挥了积极的作用。并在以后的历次事件中,也不同程度地表现出其正义性、进步性;当然,更突出的是民族性,在提高回族文化素质、改善回族经济、维护回族尊严、增强回族自信自强自立的道路上,亦创建了不可磨灭的业绩,并给后人留下了深刻的印象。现根据有关史料整理成篇,由于资料匮乏,难免遗误。希各方师友补正。
