少年儿童正处于生长发育的旺盛阶段,因此在身体机能方面具有不同于成人的特点。他们在中枢神经系统,心血管系统,呼吸系统及运动器官的功能方面都有一定的特殊性。根据这些特殊性安排少年儿童的锻炼计划,才能达到预期的锻炼效果,避免过度锻炼影响生长发育。少年儿童骨骼的化学组成成分中水和有机物的比例较大,无机盐的比例较少。因此,少年儿童的骨质较疏松,弹性大,不易骨折,但承重后易变形,弯曲。这就决定了儿童少年不宜过多承受大强度的力量练习,以免少年儿童骨骼畸形,影响正常生长。
