油菜是我区重要的油料作物,又是小麦、青稞的良好前作。油菜与小麦青稞轮作,有利于消灭燕麦草,并能减轻麦类病害。江孜海拔高,气候冷凉,日照充足,油菜生育期长。一九七七年种植三种类型十二个油菜品种,生育期短的147天,长的174天,植株高大,生长繁茂,分枝多,开花及角果发育成熟时间长,角多粒多,千粒重高,容易获得高产。在高寒地区发展油菜生产有很大的潜力。一九七七年,我场职工认真贯彻落实华主席、党中央抓纲治国战略决策,大搞科学试验,积极探求高寒地区油菜丰产途径,在1.11亩高产试验田上,收获油菜子704斤,
