法国画家亨利·卢梭逝世于20世纪初,至今已有百年,为纪念其去世而举办的卢梭作品大型回顾展,让21世纪的观众重新领略了这位“原始主义”绘画大师的非凡魅力。实际上,卢梭生前是个饱受歧视的艺术家,死后他在艺术史上的地位也没有获得充分的肯定。除了大家比较熟悉的一些作品,观众很少有机会去充分欣赏卢梭的艺术。在今天的语境里再看卢梭的作品,观众不会对卢梭绘画的非正统和非学院的绘画语言再抱有偏见,反而能深切感受他的天真质朴、风格清新,以及画家宁静如水的心境。本期刊发旅居奥地利的学者李力的文章,回顾了卢梭艰辛曲折、清贫困苦的一生,对他鲜明独特的艺术风格的形成做了分析和介绍,相信这会引发今天的读者对这位现代艺术史上的“旧人”产生新的兴趣。
